Emil Belibasis says he has come full circle growing greenhouse vegetables.   In 1989, he started his hydroponic business growing beefsteak tomatoes in a small greenhouse in Lake Butler, Florida.  Soon after, he relocated the business to Wellborn, Florida, and with his wife started a family and began expanding the operation adding other vegetables to the mix.  These included tomatoes on the vine, mini cucumbers, medley tomatoes and sweet peppers. He sold most of the vine tomatoes to Publix Supermarkets for over 23 years.

He stated retrospectively, “Today, semi retired, I cannot quit growing vegetables and am growing a small area as I did when I got started.”
