Chic Custom Crochet
Irina Irchai of Chic Custom Crochet has been crocheting since she was a teenager, and from the start she fell in love with it. “It’s a disease, but I don’t want to be cured.”
She taught herself to crochet from books, and most of her clothing items, stuffed animals, and accessories are of her own design.
Because we’re in Florida, Irina keeps her designs light. “Mostly everything is made from cotton and can be worn year round, even in the summer because cotton keeps you cool,” Irina said.
You can find Irina crocheting at her booth each Saturday. “I crochet as well as teach people,” Irina said. “I warn them it’s addictive, but they will save on shrinks for the rest of their lives because it’s so relaxing.
