“Dan the Cheese Man”, as he is known, is a Certified Cheese Professional currently operating out of the Working Food Kitchen in Gainesville.
Dan has worked in Artisan Cheese for over 13 years, buying, selling, cutting and crafting. A large portion of his work prior to joining our market was centered around education, catering, and beer, wine and cheese pairings, and he has previously participated at farmers markets in Winter Haven, Lakeland, Tampa, Orlando and Oviedo. Recently he began working toward cheese crafting to produce cheese crisps, spreads, and fresh mozzarella. Dan confesses, “I love to peddle fine cheeses to the masses”; and we are so glad he does!
